I haven’t brewed a hundred batches of beer. I’ve brewed two. The first was a clone of Newcastle Brown Ale and the other (now fermenting) is what I hope to be a respectable version of Long Peaks Raspberry Wheat. I’m not a chemist and I doubt I ever will be one. I love beer and I hope to be able to make it my full time profession one day. I’m going to make mistakes along the way and I look forward to sharing them, along with my successes, with you.
I will also be going to Sunderland, U.K. in February to get my Diploma in British Brewing Technology through Brewlab and I hope to sit for The General Certificate in Brewing Exam offered by the Institute of Brewing and Distilling.
